How to Select Your Appointment

General Counseling offers a variety of services and appointments. Follow these guidelines to help you select the appointment that best fits your needs. 

Appointment Types

General Counseling offers three appointment types: 10-minute Express Drop-Ins (virtual); 60-minute and 30-minute appointments (in-person, phone or Zoom).

Transfer Counseling provides counseling and transitional services to all students wishing to attend a four-year college or university. Emphasis is placed on making Butte students the highest priority for admission by focusing services and programs on major selection and four-year university specific requirements.

Career Specialists provide support with exploring majors and careers; changing majors; career assessments; career planning; internships; work-based learning opportunities; resume; cover letter writing and more!

Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) | Main Campus, SAS 281

EOPS Counselors assists students in the development of their potential ability through academic support and financial assistance. The services of EOPS are designed to give students individualized attention and support to improve their chances for success.
